The More You Know: Lessons Learned from Childhood Obesity Prevention and Treatment

Obesity is a complicated disease with biological and genetic factors at play. If that’s the case, what can we learn about obesity by looking at some of the younger people it impacts?

This exploratory session, featuring pediatric medicine experts Nancy Krebs, MD; and Tom Inge, MD, take a closer look at the hot-button topic of childhood obesity and why it happens. Drs. Krebs and Inge will then discuss what we can do in the world of prevention/treatment and what this teaches us about managing obesity in individuals of all ages.
