Like most people, you’ve probably heard the same advice about weight-loss for as long as you can remember. Maybe this has resulted in a poor relationship with the scale and years of battling your weight with frustration and disappointment. We just have to eat less, move more, and find enough willpower to change, right?

This thought-provoking opening session, led by leading obesity medicine physician Scott Kahan, MD, MPH, will set the stage for looking at the science behind weight and seeing how deep it really goes.
