OAC Launches Convention Registration Contest –
In an effort to get the word out about the Inaugural Convention, the OAC launched a Convention Registration Contest. There are two separate contests, one for OAC Members, bloggers and Convention attendees, and a separate contest for physicians and physician practices. The deadline for both contests is October 1!
OAC Members, bloggers and Convention attendees can recruit individuals to attend our National Convention and get a little something back in return! The grand prize for the individual that recruits the most individuals to attend the Convention is an all-expenses paid trip to Dallas for the Convention! Encourage your friends, family and anyone else you know to attend! For more information on this contest, please click here.>>>
We also launched a contest for physicians and physician practices to get involved in recruiting their patients to attend the Convention. Physicians and practices can help promote the Convention and urge their patients to join us in Dallas, and they can also consider sponsoring patients to attend. Practices and physicians will receive tiered benefits according to the number of patients they refer to the Convention. For more information on this contest, please click here.>>>
OAC Proud to Welcome Two New Members to the OAC Chairman’s Council
This month, the OAC is proud to welcome two new organizations to the OAC Chairman’s Council – Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and UT College of Medicine Chattanooga – Internal Medicine Department.
The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (formally known as the American Dietetic Association) has been a strong partner of the OAC for the past several years. The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics is part of the Obesity Care Continuum (OCC), a group that the OAC also serves on that joins forces with other organizations to have a strong voice to impact advocacy. The OAC is grateful that this organization has now signed on as a Chairman’s Council Member.
This month, we also welcome UT College of Medicine Chattanooga – Internal Medicine Department. This group connected with the OAC after OAC President/CEO, Joe Nadglowski, spoke to their organization about the obesity epidemic and its impact. With the OAC’s participation, this group graciously joined the OAC Chairman’s Council to show their support for our efforts and advancing the cause of fighting on behalf of the individual affected by obesity.
Each month, we are adding new support to the OAC Chairman’s Council and are excited to see so many new groups join this prestigious level. If you are interested in learning more about this membership level and its many benefits, please click here.>>>
