Save the date to join the OAC in supporting Obesity Care Week 2020, March 1-7

The OAC is once again proud to be a Founding Champion of Obesity Care Week (OCW), which will take place this year from March 1st-7th, 2020. Obesity Care Week is an annual public awareness effort supported by more than 50 countries worldwide and more than 55 healthcare-focused organizations.

From advocating for fair treatment of obesity to ending weight bias, Obesity Care Week aims to raise awareness, educate and advocate for a better world for people living with obesity.

Why Does OAC Support Obesity Care Week?

As America’s leading organization advocating for patients with obesity, the OAC understands just how complex obesity really is. It is a complicated, chronic disease that affects more than 650 million people globally. In the U.S. alone, more than 93 million Americans are affected.

We also believe in the power of working together. The OAC supports Obesity Care Week because it is important to align our efforts in awareness, education and support to make change possible.
