Tampa, Fla. – The Obesity Action Coalition (OAC) is excited to announce the debut of their newest educational resource, OAC Health Talks. OAC Health Talks will debut on Saturday, May 15th at 3 pm EST./12 pm PT via the OAC’s YouTube Channel.

Through education and empowerment, OAC Health Talks will help viewers set their own course for wellness as we take a deep dive into specific health topics we know the OAC community and the public care about. These 20 minute, quarterly, talks were designed with our community in mind as we deliver practical answers and insight into common talked-about topics from weight and health experts.

The first OAC Health Talk will feature licensed clinical health psychologist Robyn Pashby, PhD, and focus on “COVID-19 and Getting Back Out There.” COVID-19 has had an immense impact on everyone’s lives. With some restrictions being lifted and people re-entering society we know that certain concerns need to be addressed.

“OAC is honored to have Robyn Pashby, PhD, address some of the major concerns surrounding our ‘new normal.’ Through her useful guidance and expertise, we hope to help people navigate the post-COVID world,” said Patty Nece, JD, OAC Chair.
