Since 2005, the Obesity Action Coalition (OAC) has worked to elevate and empower people affected by obesity through education, advocacy and support. The OAC Action Fund strengthens this work by providing resources to advance advocacy, confront weight bias and expand equitable access to science-based obesity care.

Support for the Action Fund helps OAC:

Equip individuals with the knowledge and tools to advocate for themselves and their communities
Educate policymakers and the public about obesity and the barriers that prevent people from accessing care Challenge weight bias, stigma and discrimination
Mobilize our community to take action on issues affecting people living with obesity
