RECOVER Program

In September, 2009 the Obesity Action Coalition partnered with Bariatric Advantage and launched The RECOVER® Program. This program provides those faced with illness and hard economic times a FREE 90-day supply of their post-weight loss surgery vitamins and supplements. To date, the RECOVER® Program has helped more than 10,000 bariatric surgery patients get access to the vitamins they need to maintain proper nutritional support.

To take part in this program, all requests for vitamin assistance must be submitted from a bariatric practice on behalf of the patient/individual. The practice works with the patient to complete the necessary forms, and the forms are then sent to the OAC for processing to Bariatric Advantage. The OAC is not involved in reviewing or awarding assistance to any of the applicants.
