The Power to Change Lives
The OAC believes in the high-quality education presented at the Your Weight Matters Convention and EXPO and the powerful impact that connecting in our community can have on a person’s life. While attending the OAC’s Convention is a great investment in your health, it is often not possible for many under-served members of our community. The Convention Scholarship Program is designed to bring this high-quality education to individuals-in-need by awarding grants to fund or offset the associated expenses in attending the Convention.
This program is subsidized exclusively by the generosity of individual donations, making it possible for individuals to access everything the Convention has to offer, regardless of any financial hardships they may face.

For some people, receiving a grant means learning how to take control of their health to live a better life for themselves and their loved ones. For some, a grant means finding a community of support to root for them when they feel like they have no one else. For others, a grant means finally being able to prioritize their own health after spending most of their life taking care of everyone else.
