So Many Ways to Give

Fall 2024

At the Obesity Action Coalition (OAC), we’re dedicated to providing education, advocacy and support to individuals and families navigating the complexities of obesity. Every donation, big or small, fuels our vital programs and initiatives, empowering those affected by obesity to achieve their health goals and live their best lives. But we can’t do this work alone – that’s where you come in.

As a nonprofit organization, we rely on the generosity of our donors to continue our mission. The support we receive allows us to create meaningful programs, advocate for important policy changes and provide essential resources and services. Without our donors, none of this would be possible. Your contributions make a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve. Thank you for caring about this cause and for helping us do what we do!

Whether you’re passionate about education, driven to create change through advocacy or simply want to show your support, there are so many ways to make a difference.

Choose Your Path to Make a Difference
  • One-Time Donation: Spark change today with a single contribution that directly supports our mission. Your generosity will help provide essential resources and services to those in need, including educational programs, advocacy efforts and community support.
  • Recurring Donation: Become a steadfast champion for our cause with a recurring gift. Your ongoing support ensures the sustainability of our programs and initiatives, making a lasting impact on the lives we touch. By committing to a monthly gift, you help us plan for the future with confidence, knowing that the resources we rely on will be there when we need them most.
  • Workplace Giving + Corporate Matching: Double your impact and inspire your colleagues to join the movement! See if your employer offers a matching gift program and can amplify the power of your generosity.
  • Planned Giving: Leave a legacy of hope and create a brighter future for generations to come. Through planned giving, you can ensure our work continues to empower individuals and families affected by obesity long into the future.
  • Action Fund: Be a catalyst for change! Your contribution to the Action Fund directly supports our advocacy efforts, driving policy changes that improve the lives of those affected by obesity. Help us push for legislative and systemic changes that reduce stigma and increase access to care.
  • Honorary + Memorial Donations: Celebrate milestones, honor loved ones and create a meaningful tribute through a donation in their name. Your thoughtfulness will make a lasting impact while honoring the memory of those you cherish. It’s a beautiful way to remember someone special while contributing to a cause that matters.
  • Scholarship Donations: We believe in the transformative power of our in-person National Convention for its education and connection opportunities. We recognize that while investing in your health through the Convention is invaluable, finances can be a hurdle for many. We’re dedicated to providing grants for those who need financial assistance to attend, ensuring that our education and community support know no limits. Your contribution helps us remove financial barriers so that more individuals can access life-changing experiences and information.

Why Do You Give?

Our donors give for many reasons, but they all share a common belief in the power of community and the importance of the work we do.

Take Action Today

Your generosity fuels our mission, making it possible for us to provide life-changing education, fight for policy reforms and build a more compassionate community for individuals and families affected by obesity.

Be a part of the solution! Whether through a one-time donation, a recurring gift or by participating in workplace giving, every contribution makes a difference. To make a donation or explore more ways to get involved, visit our donation page.
