Ask Airlines To Improve Policies For Passengers Of Size
Background: For nearly a decade, Southwest Airlines had one of the most accommodating policies in the industry for passengers of size. Now, with the move to assigned seating, Southwest has announced changes to its Customer of Size (COS) policy that no longer guarantee a refund when purchasing an extra seat.
It’s time for all airlines — not just Southwest — to provide transparent, standardized policies to ensure that booking an extra seat is a straightforward process. We’re asking for transparency, consistency, and respect. Until all travelers can book a flight without fear of humiliation or financial penalty, the skies aren’t truly friendly.
Take Action Now: Use OAC’s advocacy tool below to sign the petition urging airlines to improve their policies for passengers of size. We’re calling for transparency, consistency, and respect.
