Tell Ohio Lawmakers to Improve Coverage for Obesity Medications
Background: In April, the Ohio Department of Administrative Services (DAS) announced that it was ending coverage under the State Employee Health Plan (SEHP) as of July 1. In response, Ohio State Rep. Josh Williams introduced legislation HB 388 that would allow for continued coverage of GLP-1 medications for Ohio state employees under the via a SEHP rebate program.
HB 388 has been referred to the House General Government Committee and needs to be scheduled for a hearing in order to move forward in the legislative process.
