A recent episode on NBC’s The Tonight Show featured an angry rant from Jay Leno which severely stigmatized people with obesity. The OAC is taking action by addressing NBC directly, but by signing-on to our letter, you can help!

An April 2019 episode of CBS’ Blue Bloods featured a character’s decision to have bariatric surgery in a stigmatizing light. It was a strong example of weight bias, and stigma against a science-based obesity treatment option, in the media. Here’s how the OAC, and then CBS, responded.
