The OAC Blog

Welcome to the new OAC Blog.  My name is Joe Nadglowski and I am the CEO of the Obesity Action Coalition (OAC).  As part of our recent Web site upgrades and from our own learning experience from working closely with the blogger community through several events in 2011, the OAC is going to be making significant changes to how and when we use our blog. No longer will it be a “news feed” or home for materials that appeared in other forums. We are committed to making it a location for new content through regular posts by me and a series of guest bloggers.

The new blog will feature posts that are both controversial and thought provoking – tackling topics that are often highly complicated. It is meant to be a forum where we can delve into such complexity.  It is our hope that through these posts, we can create a dialogue around a wide variety of topics, help you better understand our thoughts (as well as your own) and learn what our members think about these topics as well. We want your feedback, so we hope you will actively participate and encourage others to do the same as well.

Your feedback is always welcome.  Look for my first blog on “Prevention vs. Treatment” shortly.

Making a Difference Together,

Joe

I am a gastric bypass patient, 8 years out and am looking for an online support group website. Can I find that here or do you know of any I can investigate?
