Media Requests
Dear Media Representative,
On behalf of the OAC, I would like to take a moment and thank you for visiting the OAC Web site to learn more about the OAC. The OAC is a national 501(C)(3) non profit patient-based organization dedicated to educating and advocating for all those affected by all forms of obesity.
By strictly representing the interests and concerns of those dealing with obesity, the OAC is a unique organization with a patient-focused approach. Our mission is to elevate and empower those affected by obesity through education, advocacy and support.
The information and articles enclosed in the OAC’s Media Kits are located on the OAC Web site. Articles were taken from the OAC’s quarterly patient-focused publication, titled “OAC News.” All OAC materials are available free of charge to the public and offer readers the most up to date educational and advocacy information. The OAC believes that each and every patient should be educated about obesity and its treatments and complications. The OAC empowers patients to become advocates for change by helping to eliminate the negative stigma associated with obesity and working to ensure that obesity is treated as a disease.
Please take a moment to view our materials and learn more about the OAC. I invite you to contact me to discuss the OAC further and allow me the opportunity to elaborate on the OAC’s efforts to strengthen the voice of all those living with and/or affected by obesity.
To request hard copies of the materials found on our Web site, please contact me at (800) 717-3117 or jzervios@obesityaction.org. Thank you again for your interest in the OAC.
Sincerely,
James Zervios
