Tampa , FL – As part of its continuing commitment to provide educational resources for those affected by obesity, the Obesity Action Coalition (OAC) is proud to debut its quarterly newsletter, titled OAC News.

OAC News is an educational and advocacy newsletter designed specifically for patients. The newsletter is also a useful tool for professionals to help educate their patients and gain insight into the issues and concerns affecting today’s obese patient.

Each issue touches on a wide variety of important and timely topics affecting patients in the obesity community. Topics include: a cover story, nutrition corner, “Health Q & A” section, advocacy news and information, inspirational patient profiles, an article on one of the many obesity-related conditions, news from the OAC and much more. Members of the OAC automatically receive a subscription to the newsletter.

If you would like to receive a copy of the first edition, or to request bulk copies free-of-charge, please contact the OAC National Office at (800) 717-3117 or info@obesityaction.org. OAC News will be published each October, January, April and July. To view an online version of OAC News, please visit the OAC Web site at www.obesityaction.org.

The mission of the OAC is to elevate and empower those affected by obesity through education, advocacy and support.
