Massachusetts-Based Insurer Changes Policy for Those Affected by Morbid Obesity In response to advocacy efforts, TUFTS Health Plan has revised their policies regarding weight-loss surgery. The revised policy restores patient choice in surgery type and reduces the duration of pre-operative dietary counseling.
